About Me
Ethical Sports Takes is unapologetic sports commentary built for thoughtful disagreement.

Behind These Ethical Takes
Ethical Sports Takes exists because yelling “you’re wrong” at the TV wasn’t enough. I’m a lifelong sports fan who loves three things in particular: F1 strategy and politics, NBA team-building and labor dynamics, and the NFL’s constant tension between entertainment and ethics. I’m not a former pro, an insider, or a hot‑take merchant. I’m just someone who believes the way we talk about sports matters almost as much as the games themselves.
The “ethical” part isn’t about pretending there’s one correct moral stance on every issue. It’s about being honest about our biases, caring how players and workers are treated, and refusing to separate the fun from the fallout when it clearly shouldn’t be separated. I’ll praise teams I dislike and criticize players I love. I’ll defend villains, question fan favorites, and call out leagues when the product on the field or track doesn’t match the values they market.
You absolutely don’t have to agree with me—if anything, I’d be worried if you always did. This site is built on the idea that disagreement is the point: that smart, sharp, respectful argument makes fandom better. If a post makes you think, roll your eyes, or want to write a 500‑word rebuttal in the comments, then this place is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Manifesto
I started Ethical Sports Takes to cover F1, the NBA, and the NFL in one place where arguments are welcome, receipts matter, and loving the game never means ignoring how players, fans, and leagues treat other.
